Oaty Fruit & Nut Energy Bites

No Bake Oaty Fruit & Nut Energy Bites

At Be Body Smart we love a quick and easy tasty treat and the best thing about this one is there is no baking involved!!  Recipe below so give them a go and let us know how you get on:-

Ingredients

1 small cup of good oats

1 tbsp. Honey

1tbsp peanut butter (I used wholenut crunchy peanut butter as its better for you and less sweet)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Your choice of nuts or dried fruits

Method

You can either roast the oats in the oven before hand for a little more flavour or use them dry ( I like both methods).  Combine the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.  Lay out on a greaseproof baking tray and in leave in the fridge for a couple of hours.  Remove from fridge and roll into equal size balls.  Enjoy straight away or place in the fridge as a tasty snack!
